November 2022 - Thetechnologyguru Snowball!
We are delighted to announce the release of Snowball! This is where Thetechnologyguru keeps an offline copy of customer data for ultimate security and safety. This means that in the event a customer loses data, we will always have a a copy available to replace the lost data! This is a key service that we offer our customers who have had video conversions - should any conversions be lost or corrupted, we can provide a fresh copy. We also see another benefit for this service. We always work to specify a next of kin which means that when the occasion arises we can pass on important information and video's which are often cherished memories which families lose if not managed correctly.
November 2022 Update - New Logo & New Offer!!!!
I have been doing some updates and tidying up some bits and pieces when I realized it was a year ago I did my last update!!!! Some things I have been working on - firstly I have re-designed the logo slightly...
I hope you like it! It uses easily accessible fonts meaning that it is easy for me to re-format, scale and pull together some funky designed should I need to!!! Also, for Christmas time, we are offering 20% of all conversions!

Finally, I am looking to launch a design service for companies that would like professionally designed banners of all sizes to cover various social media channels as well as posters. We would organize all logistics including the printing and delivery of flyers and posters. Ideal for any events and promotions you are doing!
August 2021 Update - Participation at Normandy Picnic on the Green
I am delighted to inform you that Thetechnologyguru has been invited to attend the Normandy Picnic on the green. I will be manning a stall between 3 and 5 pm in order to inform anyone interested in talking more about the Normandy Gigabit Broadband Project in more detail. If you are a resident within the core plan, I can answer any questions that you might have. If you fall outside of the core plan and would like to add your name to a list of those that would be interested in pledging your support for participation in Phase 2 we can discuss this in more detail.
June 2021 Update
I am really excited to announce that we will be sponsoring the 7 am to 9 am slot on Kane FM - Guildford's best independent radio station. We are also releasing a special deal for Kane FM listeners to coincide with our sponsorship. If you order conversion for 10 or more tapes we will throw in a 1TB USB hard drive for free!!!!

Like many people, Thetechnlogyguru recently lost his employment due to COVID-19. When this sorry situation is over with I am sure that this period in history will be looked upon as an era-defining time. Thetechnlogyguru made the decision to look into ways that he could create his own business which led to him spending time beavering away to think of the skills that he could use to set up his business.
It has always been an ambition of Thetechnlogyguru to start up his own business and he plans to use his journey to guide others thinking about doing the same thing. Thetechnlogyguru would love to turn a negative event into a positive one by taking the opportunity to use the experience gained of over 20 years working in IT for the benefit of others. There is so much help Thetechnlogyguru can give and he is bursting with ideas! Thetechnlogyguru would absolutely love to be in the position for the business to be so successful that he could hire local staff in the future so that they could gain skills and experience needed to help them with their own careers and benefit from Thetechnlogygurus experience gained throughout the years.
My Mission
Thetechnlogygurus mission is to deliver IT services across the Surrey region and more widely within the UK as the business grows. Thetechnlogygurus aim is to help people get to grips with IT to put a smile on their faces. The first services that Thetechnlogyguru will be offering he thinks will do this. The first is to convert films from unplayable media onto modern technology for families to enjoy. The second is a service to help small businesses use social media to get the message out into the public domain. This will enable businesses to concentrate on their business while the Technologyguru will use his skills with Social Media to bring new customers!
